my neighbours rang up last week and asked me if i would be able to babysit their sharpei cross lab, I said i couldn't because iw as going on a week long holiday. so she said she'll find someone else, well as you guys know, i sort of live in the middle of nowhere...my dogs will be going into boarding kennels quite a ways away, but it's on my way to the airport so no biggy.... I told her she should just get her dog boarded too, but in australia it's illegal not to have your dog vaccinated if it's going into boarding, and max isn't vaccinated at all....and she refuses to have it done. so i spoke to her today and asked if she found someone to look after max, she hadn't, so i asked her what she was going to do and she said, he'll just have to fend for himself, she'll leave a bucket of water and a bag of kibble....she's going for 9 days....I'm not sure what to do, as i'll be gone the whole time, and she's a friend....tell me what to do

Wow... What did you say when she told you this?
I was very shocked, I told her to keep looking or bite the bullet and get him vaccinated, but she said she couldn't afford it.....I told her someone may call animal welfare on her....and she said that they can't report something that hasn't happened yet and plus in her own words "the dog will be fine"
