Well, it is about time I learn to cut my 7 month old lab mix's nails. To be quite honest, I am a bit nervous about doing it. I don't want to injure my dog or use a tool that will not be effective.

The product that I see most often is PediPaws. On Amazon.com there are many poor reviews of it. Do any of you use this or have any opinions on it?

The only other products I have really ever seen are the clippers. I'm not sure which brands of clippers are the best. I'd appreciate any recommendations.

I guess basically my question is should I buy PediPaws, clippers, or a different product I am unware of?

I've heard from many people on this forum that the pedipaws just don't have enough power to get the job done.. Most use a Dremel instead with a sand paper attachment on it. Right now, we're using clippers on Zoey, but I intend to dig my husbands dremel out and give it a try next time she needs her nails done.
