Beef Liver "Brownies"

I just made a batch of these for mine over the weekend and they went absolutely nutty over them! If your dog likes beef treats you should give these a try, they are really easy to make and it makes a ton of them! I used to buy beef liver treats around here for $12.00 for 6 ounces, these look exactly the same as the ones I used to buy and cost WAY less to make (and make a LOT more than 6 ounces!)

Beef Liver "Brownies"

1 pound fresh beef liver
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. Wheat germ
1 1/2 c. Flour

Preheat Oven to 350 degrees.

Put all of the ingredients into a food processor or blender.

Puree until very smooth (about 4 minutes)

Grease a 13x9 pan with olive oil then spread the mixture into the baking dish until you have a well even layer across the entire pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Partially cool, then cut into small (1 inch) pieces while still warm.

Cool completely and then remove from pan.

Store in fridge or freezer.

Serve in small quantities as these are quite rich.
