Um... yeah. So I had the dogs out back like I do EVERY day. Beau found a bunny and recall went out the window. He chased it across the yard, to the woods and I thought okay, the fence will stop him- it's wire with barbed wire on the top. Nope, sure enough the rabbit went under the fence and the dog followed. I started screaming at the top of my lungs 'cookie! cookie!'. You see, behind our fence is a pasture full of humongous longhorn cows. The cows were a ways away and Beau stopped a few feet in. I'm on the other side trying to coax him back through this tiny little hole he climbed out of. Of course the guard donkeys see him in the field and come over to investigate. Eventually I calm down and call him quietly and he sure enough comes back through the fence. We get out of there and the donkeys come.
Guess who gets to be leashed now?
Here's pics I took after the dogs went back inside. Just so you get a feel for the pasture.
