the uk dogs act is being used to take pets away from owners because of how they look

they showed 3 dogs that might be pitbulls... one was pts and 2 were being held waiting for an appeal through the courts.
this was on "The One show" (16th july 12)

they take lab crosses and large staffies and other dogs that look the "type"

It's not just the UK where this is happening, the UK is in the news anad under the spotlight right now due to the Lennox case (even of it wasn't mentioned). BSL like this has occured in many Cities/Counties and Provinces in the US and Canada as well as many other countries. Here is a list of Countries with BSL

the lady they talked to was a dog warden proud to say she took them away .... she was sure tat eventually all those dogs were going to bite somebody. nobody will want to adopt a bull type dog if there is a chance he/ she will get taken away
