Aww, Poor Ruby and Poor you!!! Giving a pup that small pills will be a challenge! If the pills are small enough, stuff them into a piece of cheese, just be sure to make her 'earn' her reward!!!! ;)

Glad to hear she is doing a little better. Poor baby. Our dog has had giardia twice. It's hard to see them so ill. But she'll get better quickly. It's important to take all of the medicine as the vet has instructed and not cut it off too soon just because the dog is doing better. Giardia can be pesky to get rid of.

Aww poor baby. I didn't even know dogs could be anemic. My pup has very sensitive skin and there’s something that sets off a rash for him every so often. My friends that also own dogs told me to wrap up his “sensitive skin pills” in cheese or peanut butter but he ate around it the few times I tried. I now use the pill pockets from the pet store, they work great! He thinks the medication is a treat. It might work for your ruby :)

Ruby..do you live near a lake, river or pond? If you do, DONT, DONT let your dog drink from there. I've heard that on a television show on Animal Planet called Emergency Vets. Giardia can be found in those places. On that episode, 3 little bulldogs puppies were brought in with Giardia which they contracted from drinking water in a lake, pond or river. I think but I'm not sure that other animal feces may contain Giardia if the animal has it in its system. Other animals tend to use those places as bathrooms i.e. ducks, fish etc...All in all I'm glad to hear that your puppy is doing great.
