Hey! I have a 5 month old (as of July 5th that is!) Great Dane/Bullmastiff mix and I was wondering if she was of average weight for one of those? I haven't been able to find a growth chart for Bullmastiff's anywhere! Anyways, I got her when she was 3 months old.

Weight(s):

3 months - 36.6 pounds
4 months - 50.1 pounds
5 months - ? I'll be taking her back to the vet the 3rd Saturday of July. I will post that then! :)

So if you can help me that would be great! I don't really care if she's not gonna be as big as either a Great Dane or Bullmastiff, I just want her to have a healthy life! :) I'll love her no matter what, I'm just really curious!! So thanks if you have any information!! :)

The number isn't so important as the looks of the dog. It's hard to see her weight in these pictures. Can you get one of her from the side, standing up? I always use the rule that the last 3 ribs should feel like the back of your hand. In other words, you can feel a little covering, but you can clearly feel the ribs through it.

Your dog seems to be growing like a Pit Bull/Great Dane mix I had. She averaged a weight gain of 2.5# per week. At 10 months she weighed about 65#. Yours is going to be much bigger than mine I can tell that already! :D She is very pretty with a nice shiny coat.

Sorry, I don't think I have a picture from her side. But if I find one I will be sure to post it on here.

Haha.. Thank you! :)
People always think she is a black lab or at least has some in her. But, nope she doesn't! :)

Ya'lls dogs are adorable also!!

Having dealt with English Mastiffs, it sounds like she's close to being where she should be, however alot will depend on her height (taken at the highest part of the shoulder). The suggestion of a side shot is a good one, You'd need it to look like this

And this is close to how she should look at proper weight at her age (Max was 1 year old and 145lbs when this was taken)

Thanks. I tried to take a picture from her side, but she wasn't being very cooperative. She just wanted to go outside and play around for a little big! Haha. Anyways here is the picture:

I thought I would also try to post a couple videos.. now if they work that's another story.

I'm not sure if you'll be able to tell from the videos either, but I thought I would give it a shot. Maybe you could pause it when you get a view of her side or something. I'm really not sure.

Thanks for all ya'lls reply's and help!!! :)
