Depends on the dog. Different breeds have different life spans.
Looks like someone put some effort into this list..

I'd say 8-9 to sum all dogs together though.

Id say 8.
BUT:
I have seen some 4 year old dogs who act look, and health wise are 12 years old.
I have seen 12 year old dogs, look, act an health wise be 4 years old.

Blaze will be 8 in may. But he still looks, acts and health wise is a 1 year old dog.

I would take it more on a dog to dog bases IMO.
