I haven't given my dog a bath is about a month (I know I know.. bad! bad!) Anyways, I just gave her a bath today and I noticed she is COVERED in spots! Not her fur, but her skin is all black spots. She has white fur so I could see the spots when she was wet. She's always had black spots on the skin of her belly and her legs, but recently I thought I was noticing they were darker and more numerous. Now she has all these spots on her back too! I keep trying to figure out how old she is, could this be a determining factor?

When we adopted her 6 months ago the rescue place said she was 1-2 years old. But we think she's probably about 13 or 14 months NOW and when we got her she was much younger. Any ideas? Do dogs stop developing spots at a certain age?

LOL if you're bad for not giving your dog a bath for a month, I must be made of pure evil.

Anyway, it's hard to see in the picture below, but our dog Pip is ticked (lots of little black spots on his skin and hair). Just the other day my husband told me he though Pip had more spots (ticks) than he used to, and he's almost 7. So maybe never?

Haha! I usually try to bathe her once every two weeks, she starts to look so filthy!

Well I guess I'll never know how old she is then.:)
