I know dogs can have allergies is asthma possible too? It was really quite warm here today and I noticed Dakota was panting more than usual of course because of the heat but the sound in a few of her pantings was almost like a weezing sound?? This is the second time she's done this in the past month and both times were on very warm days. Possible? If I hear it again I will take her in

Sassy has a grade 3 heart murmur and she started panting heavily in temperatures above 70* at the end of last summer. It was only a grade 2 last summer so is getting worse. The panting doesn't go into a cough or wheeze but she is forcefully exhaling the way I do when my asthma is acting up. Her heart isn't enlarged and there isn't any fluid buildup. I would have a check up done to see what is what.
