We just adopted a puppy from our local animal shelter and are curious what he could possibly be mixed with. Does anybody care to guess? Thanks in advance!

In the first picture, I almost thought that he looked like a corgi. I would say that he's some type of terrier mix.

I love his saddle, and he has a grouchy old man face that's really hard not to fall in love with.

Wow thanks for all the quick replies, I love active boards!

I should stipulate that he has all his adult teeth and they estimate his age to be a little under a year. They tell me he will not grow any larger than he is.

I aggree with Laurelin. Definately looks like a chihuahua/terrier thing. Possibly wired fox or dachshund?

He's a cutie, no matter what he is! I <3 scruffy dogs.

Thank you for all the replies! I agree with many of the guesses...Corgi/Terrier (possibly Jack Russel)/possibly Chihuahua. It doesn't matter because he's wondeful regardless of his heritage, I was just curious what others saw. I love mutts, I've had the best experiences with them! Thank you again for the kind warm welcome.

I am seeing wire hair jack Russel and maybe some chihuahua or Fox Terrier.

I see Border Terrier and Chi. Though I'm not sure how commonly you'd find the former breed in a mix because they're not all that popular.

He sure is cute, though!
