We are adopting this puppy at the end of May when she is 8 weeks old. We have been doing research for about 2 months now and do have some questions, but I want to put them all in a seperate thread.

The first pic is when she was only a few weeks old after they were rescued by a group. I am told she will be a border collie mix, possibly some lab too.

Anybody have any guesses as to what kind of mix and how big she "may" get?

Thanks

Far, far too young to tell... do you have any recent pictures of her? Do you know how heavy she is?

The only "breed" I can see is cute. ;) Yeah, I think she's too young in these photos to make a good guess.

Congrats on the pup, though. And thanks for rescuing.

If she is border collie mix with lab she is going to need alot of exercise. Make sure you Spay her to help control the pet population. Good luck and congrats on the rescuing of her. She is adorable.

I figured she was too young, I was just wondering. Yes, we will certaintly be getting her spayed @ 6 months. My girlfriend and I have done a lot of research. I have wanted a dog since I was a kid so I really want to do this the right way. I am glad I found this site though! The links for articles to read before you get a puppy were great. Actually made me a little nervous after reading them about the short time frame we have to train and socialize her properly.

She's very cute whatever she is. I'm glad you've read the stickys in this forum. Yes socialisation is the most important thing you can do for a puppy besides love & training. Good lucik with her. You could also look up the breeds you think she has in her so your prepared for what she may be like.
