Hello,

My mom has two Pugs and she has used Advantage in the past on them but their skin had an adverse reaction to it. She doesn't know what to use and is asking me for advice. She's going to try garlic, but I don't know if that works. A cousin of mine uses a product called Confortis and she swears by it, but after reading reviews, some dogs would vomit from it. Has anyone had similar issues (skin reactions from Advantage) and then switched to something that works?
I'd really appreciate any help and suggestions

I had the same problem using topicals on my dog Pebbles, switched to Comfortis and as long as it is given w/ food (per the directions) I have never encountered vomiting w/ its use. I also find it works MUCH better than Frontline Plus (the only topical option at my vet office)!!
