This is Maggie, we got her from some friends of ours about 9 years ago.
(The pictures are kind of crappy...I can get better ones if need be...)
Vertebrate Dog breed Dog Canidae Mammal

Dog Dog breed Labrador retriever Canidae Pumpkin

At the shelter, she was listed as a "Lab/Mix" and I'm having a hard time believing she is anything but Lab.
She is a pretty tall girl at a little over 25 inches at the withers. She's only about 65#s as I keep her weight down because of Hip Dysplacia.
She's definitely not breed standard according to the AKC...she's too tall and is more "long and leggy" than they prefer.

So, pure Lab? Mix? What do you think?

The ears are too long and placed lower on the head than a purebred lab. I'd guess there's something else in the mix, but it's hard to say what.

Pretty dog either way, though.

Actually that could definitely be a pure bred lab. There's a gajillion labs up here and many of them have ears like that, especially if they are not from show breeders. Many of the hunters up here don't give a fig what the dog really looks like so they aren't AKC standard by any means, plus there are a ton of BYB labs.

That was my thinking...she might be performance bred or just poorly bred.

Now that you guys mention it though, I can see the possibility of there being some hound in her...
Thanks for the replies! :)
