I don't have a dog of my own at the moment, but I work with dogs and do a lot of dog sitting.
We're hoping to add a pup to the family within the next year.
Mostly I joined because I love to chat to other dog enthusiasts and I'm always happy to learn more and expand my knowledge.

Welcome to DF :) It's so exciting when you know you're going to be adding a puppy to your family! Any idea on what breed you're interested in? I started working for a doggie daycare 5 years ago and it was so hard to make up my mind on what breed I wanted! lol.

Lol! It's true, since I started working with dogs people assume it must be easy to list my 'favourite' breed. Instead I just kept finding breeds I didn't want (all lovely, just not right for me).
We're choosing between a Soft Coated Wheaten terrier or a Border Terrier at the moment. The Wheatens were top of the list for a long time and I'm in touch with a couple of breeders, but the Borders have been growing on me too.
