ok this was weird !! I woke up a bit ago (1am) got up to go potty and my front door was WIDE OPEN !! All 3 dogs were sitting there staring out the open door but not ONE of them went outside !!! I have no idea how the door got opened or how long it had been that way. I think maybe I just didnt get it shut tight and the wind blew it open. I am so proud of my furbabies !! The 3 cats on the other hand are all MIA but since its raining and cold out they should be home any minute.

Wow! Well trained dogs there! I think I would give them all a special treat today ... once I got over the initial thought of what could have happened. Good Job!

I shudder to think of what could of happened . I didn't even think about it till a bit ago but we have a HUGE bear roaming the area I could of seen me getting up and finding a grizzley raiding my fridge !!

Oh and all the cats are home, that is why I am up again at 4 am besides we are into that 24 hour daylight so it confuses the animals ( and me ) about when its nighttime !

Good dogs, wonder what they would of done if it wasn't raining, can't say Holly would of stayed, she's got out of the gate a few times, luckily or maybe not so luckily really a dog has always been out, and she goes to them and barks in there faces, actually it is lucky because at the end of my road is a busy road.

I am lucky to live on several acres in the woods at the end of a deadend road so traffic is not a problem. Wildlife can be though. My poochon Sophie and yorkipoo Guapo are little and we have eagles, hawks and large owls out there. Lucifer my lab would of just gone to his gfs across the road . I thought at first maybe they went out and had come back but they were totally dry and I know they were in bed with me when I first woke up , WIERD !!
