Hi, guys! My name is Colin. Two days ago I got my new best friend, Lokahi! Lokahi is a miniature Australian Shepherd. He is black and white with a bit of brown on his feet and face.

He is a technically a rescue, as I got him on Wednesday, and his former owners had planned on taking him to a shelter on Friday. (How they have failed to find a home for such a beautiful little Aussie is beyond me, but perhaps it was fate, and not just EXTREMELY good luck.)

I have joined this site because of how enthusiastic I am about my new buddy and I look forward to talking to other dog owners that love their pups, and hopefully if the situation ever arises where I need to ask for information and advice this seems like just the place.
