I want to make my dog some homemade treats. He is a westie, and although I do not think he has allergies, I don't want to find out. I need recipes without beef, wheat, or corn. Thank you!:)

I have found that I can whirl Sassy's raw special glutinous rice in a coffee mill and make a cream of wheat textured meal that bakes very nicely. Perhaps check a cream of rice package and use that if it meets your requirements. I mix it with egg white and banana for cookies for her special low phosphorus kidney diet.

Try it for a healthy dog by whirling 4 ounces of regular raw rice until mostly smashed up, add a whole egg and then 4 ounces of something wet. Baby food meat? Canned fish? Banana is good, thinking about using pumpkin at some point. Then spread in a parchment paper lined 8x8" or 9x9" pan and bake for 15-20 minutes at 350* until lightly browned and firm in the middle. No matter how messy the outcome your dog will love it.

Note to self. Mash the wet stuff up very very well so the cookies come off the paper easily. Last batch sort of a mess.
