I bought my bulldog in 2019. I got his akc paperwork and I didn’t get around to registering him online. I lost this info and I lost contact with the breeder. What would I do in this case? how would I get him registered? I wanted to eventually breed him. I paid good money for my dog and I want to find a way to retrieve his paperwork. Please please help

Only the breeder of record can request a duplicate individual registration form. And once (if) you do either find your original paperwork or the breeder gets you a duplicate application, you will have to pay a late fee on top of the usual registration fee if you submit the paperwork more than 12 months after it was originally issued. If you want to compete in companion or performance events like obedience, rally, or nosework, you can apply for a Purebred Alternative Listing if he's been altered.
