I recently photographed a local agility trial. My dog was not competing, I just took pictures. It was the first time I had even been to an agility event. It was a lot of fun and I had to learn a bit about what was going on to effectively take photos. Here are a few of the shots I was able to get. There are additional shots at this link.

Thanks for the comments, folks. Still photography is really great in that it captures details and moments that we would never otherwise notice or get a chance to see. Yes the concentration on the dog's faces is really cool. It is amazing how much dogs love to do anything that involves doing it with people. Jogging, hunting, agility events, mushing, you name it. They just love anything that means we are paying attention to them.
