Lucy and I are starting agility classes tomorrow! We are already taking rally-o classes and are half way through the novice course for it, but I thought agility would be a blast too and the trainer said it shouldn't he an issue to take both lessons at once. So I'm pretty excited about it!! I was on a waiting list forever to get into them, so I'm glad we finally got in! I will update tomorrow on how it goes :)

Since starting Agility my dog wants to do NOTHING but that.. I tried practicing for Rally today and she was thoroughly uninterested.. set up a couple of jumps and she was bouncing all over the place :D

LOL Too funny!!! We'll see what Lucy thinks of it, she enjoys the rall-o but I think she'd like something more active too.

The lady I am taking lessons from is apart of a club that hosts trials and does demonstrations at fairs, rodeos, etc...so that might be fun to get involved in if we decide we like it!

Aww that stinks your class got cancelled!

She got us working on teaching our dogs to target, and we started on contacts. With Lucy being a total newbie to it we just had her at the bottom and targeting so she's learn to finish it off and not jump off. We also had her going through tunnels and hoops!! So fun! Lucy seems to be catching on and doesn't have a nervous bone in her body LOL The treats might have something to do with that of course :D

You'll have fun with it and not have any problems with taking both at the same time. I tried Rally with Nell, but she was just too energetic and couldn't sit still, so we moved to Agility instead. Chloe is in Rally. I love doing Rally.

As for Chloe, she's in Rally, but the trainer is pressuring me to do Obedience instead, lol. I keep trying to tell her Obedience to me is boring, lol. I love doing Rally.
I am really enjoying both Rally and Agility, but I think Lucy seemed to like agility better. She is very energetic too, sounds like your Nell! LOL! I guess we will see as we get going more with it.

I will say Rally has helped A LOT with her focus issues LOL!! She used to get distracted soooo easily, but we've doing lots of distraction work with her and we definitely are improving with that.
