Hi guys I'm getting sick of advocate I have a husky dog and it's impossible to get the stuff on her skin and not actually all over her fur. What other heart worm and flea tick treatments that are really good preferably in a tablet form as my pups happy to eat anything.

My dog is not on this product since he does fine with topicals, but my vet personally likes Nexgard as a chewable option for flea/tick. I believe both Comfortis and Capstar are tablet options for fleas only. There would need to be a separate oral med for the heartworm (Heartgard, Sentinel, etc). You might want to ask your vet about them or other recommendations when you get a chance.

I have been using Bravecto for fleas and ticks and it is very good-- one chewable every 3 months. you would still need to use a separate thing for heartworms with it too.

I have a long haired dog and can get topicals on her. You just split the hair.
