The marble-y part is merle. But he is very unique. Adorable too. Are you thinking about adopting...?

Oh, yes, I know the merle very well--it was just seeing it stuck right in the middle of the otherwise "normal" tan. And, I am always thinking of adopting--whether I am financially able to or not.. Ah, now that's the question. ;S

That's just a regular old blue merle with tan points, with extended tan- think beagle-patterned tan rather than collie/doberman tan points. This pattern is called 'red headed tricolor' in Pembroke Welsh Corgis and 'hound tri' in Papillons.
