My 9 mos old Shih Tzu has started chewing the wooden legs of furniture or any other wood. How do I break her of it? She has loads of chew toys, squeeky toys, rawhide bones, etc. which she loves; but she'll still go for the wood on occasion. I scold her, she quits, of course; I give her a chew stick instead, but she'll go back to the wood at another time.. Is there something I can put on the wood to discourage it.

Thanx. Hopefully my pet store will have it. I'll give it a try. Is that safe to put on a hardwood floor? Will it stain, do you know?

It's safe to put on wood, tile, linoleum, etc. I've even used it on persian rugs with no problem. If you're concerned test a small area first. I've never had a problem with it though.
