Hi,
we recently brought home our 8 week old golden retriever puppy, female.
I wasn’t sure if it’s normal, but she appears a little unsteady on her back legs, she seems to struggle pushing herself up from lying down.
her preferred laying down position is with both of her legs directly behind her, which my older golden retriever never did! She then prefers to sort of shuffle herself along unless she has to move a big distance.
we do have tiled floor but that was also present at the breeders house. She seems preferctly happy when she’s up and about and there’s no whining or obvious signs of pain when she’s getting up, she just seems a little weak when getting up.
we will be phoning the vets for her injections ASAP so will ask about it then but just wanted some advice for now.
thanks in advance!
