Hello Everyone!

I have a 4 year old female Morkie (Yorkshire Terrier / Maltese) that normally pees indoors on her pee pad.

My wife and I just moved into our new house 4 weeks ago and ever since then, we would come home from work everyday and find pee on the carpet.

When we're home, our dog will always pee on the pee pad.
The problem is ONLY when we are both away at work.

Prior to moving to our new house, she only has an accident maybe once every 2 months.

Any idea how I can stop her from doing this?

Thanks in advance!

is it the same area for the peeing, is the carpet new or old from the previous residence in the house you just moved into? The only other suggestion is to go back to potty training.. set up a smaller area for your pup to stay in while your gone.

She is peeing in a few different areas.
The carpet is brand new, we are the first owners of this house.

Sometimes dogs mistake carpets and rugs for pee pads. There could also be smells from other dogs on the carpet, too.

I would keep her confined to an area with hard floors and then her pee pad, and see if that fixes the problem.
