Hi all,

This is my first post as we are dogsitting a 3 month old puppy ....

My question is if it's bad that the pup ate 2 small peices of raw meat ( filet mignon ) from grocery :)

My wife wasn't quick enough as she left it in the car with him momentarily and he found and devoured it.

too funny...

Any health issues with this ?

Thanks

Should be fine, except for maybe an icky poop if his stomach can't handle it. As long as the meat hadn't been sitting there for hours on end. If you are concerned always call a vet, especially since it isn't your puppy.

My dog, Mabel, wants to go for a ride in your car!

Lots of dogs eat a totally raw diet. It's actually quite good for them. An entire filet might be a little much, and cause some exta pooping, but probably nothing to worry about.

Be prepared for lots of poop and possibly diarrhea, not because he is sick, but because that is a lot of rich meat he is not used to.

I agree, lucky dog! Or rather, Sadie agrees.

Forget the dogs, I want to ride in the car but I will bring my little porta-grill.
