Hello everyone. Just came searching for help or ideas! I currently have my little pepper at my parents since they have a house with a yard. Hes got his pen and crate setup on the tile porch where we don't allow access to other parts of the house. Hes gotten pretty good about hitting the bells on the door to go outside but isn't perfect yet 1-3 accidents on the porch a day. With the accidents inside plus the outside trips hes going about 30-40 times a day. He takes 3 1.5 hour naps a day so he's about 10 hours a day he's up. Is it normal for a 12 week old puppy to pee that much? I thought puppies can hold there bladder for as many months they're old? So he should be able to hold it for 3 hours. He's going 6-10 times an hour for about 3 weeks now.

Dogs don't always read the book. At this age, he is still very much a baby, and like a baby, need to potty often. The general rules is as soon as they wake up, as soon as they are done eating, after they take a long slurp of water, after they have been playing for a while, any time the look like they are thinking about pottying, and ever 30 to 30 minutes just because. And my German Shepherd was nearly two before she quit needing trip outside in the wee hours of the morning.

6 times an hour? That can't be right. We are with him all the time so we're watching him.

If the dog is still pottying inside, figure out the times when this is happening, there may be a pattern. You may need to start taking them out more per hour, or just after a certain activity, like getting a belly rub. If he's having so many accidents, he either doesn't "get" it yet, or needs to go out more. Anyway, potty training isn't natural for dogs, it may take a while to be accident free. How much water is he drinking?

He goes out 30-40 times a day. He asks to go out 90% of the those times. Other times are after naps and meals and big gulps of water. His accidents inside are random. My concern is if a 12 week old puppy should be peeing 6-10 times an hour.
Have you talked with a vet? Generally they say that by 1 month, it should be an hour, 2 months 2 hours, 3 months 3 hours. These are maximums, not ideal schedules, but I don't see why he would need to go out more than twice an hour- unless he's drinking a lot, like if it's hot where you are.
No its cold here haha. 20°-40°
