My dog is a boxer pit bull and he is a little over a year. He gets way too excited when visitors come and when I take him around people. What do I do to make him quit this and calm down!? Also he does this thing where he literally is constantly sniffing people... How do I stop that?

Well, it's not a picture, but a short video I managed to get of my dog at the park. She had carried her ball into the water and it was making her quite upset, so we had to resort to throwing sticks instead. Thought I'd share it since it managed to give us a laugh.
