    Crazy Cats!!!

At least I know my cat highway will be well used once it's built? LOL!!

And I apologize for the second shot being sideways, it's vertical on my computer, but it goes sideways in every attachment, no clue why, and I'm having issues getting into my photobucket account right now.

Cat highway as in The Cat House? That's cool! We thought about doing that a few years ago, but having a handicapped cat (3-legged) and a projectile vomiter possibly lounging over our heads made us reconsider.

Years ago, we did have one cat, Brando, who liked to sit on top of doors. He'd also run up the walls and jump off, chasing a paper ball or a lunge whip, sometimes he'd run up the wall for no apparent reason.

    Re: Crazy Cats!!!

lol.... Cat training with Ratmir is going well... Then Azamet decided to catch a mouse and bring it back to shove it into Ratmirs face and dare Ratmir to take it from him ???????? yes,, exactly... I am able to slip a slip lead on Ratmir and talk to him to release his locked shoulder stance nose to nose with Azamet (Azamet totally defiant shoving that mouse in Ratmirs face while growling at Ratmir eyes loceked into his) Thankful that Ratmir relaxes and walks away with me so I can take Ratmir across the house and secure him in a bedroom so I can go back and round Azamet and Aslan up back into their house. I close the bedroom door with Ratmir to remove the slip lead and realize ,,, but of course Aslan has slipped into the room with us and loving Ratmir up rubbing up and around his legs. I crack the bedroom door open for Aslan to leave.. And what do I find...................................... Azamet waiting right outside the door, with that stupid mouse in his mouth... knee jerk reaction for the shock I shut the door, regrouped my thoughts and then cracked it open again just enough to let Aslan out and shut it.. Azamet starts pacing right up against the door and Ratmir is sniffing the bottom of the door and when he does you can hear Azamet growling..

I do slip out the door tell Azamet enough and to house.. He drops the mouse and trots back towards his house and jumps in.. What in the world was that all about Azamet. ??? 10 -15lb of cat to 165lb dog duh... "Thank you Ratmir for having so much self control"

Funny part was me cracking the door open and suddenly seeing that Azamet had not only followed after Ratmir.... but he was """ Waiting"" for Ratmir..... Hey Big black ugly dog,,, don't run away from me and hide behind your human, get your butt out here and face me!!!!!! COward !!! lol lol lol lol lol lol

Yeah, though different aesthetic. I'll be building industrial style cat shelves to fit in with the industrial decor I'm working on in my condo. And wow, I would have reconsidered a cat highway with a cat like that too, lol!

I had to laugh the other day, I have two closets in my entry way with accordion style doors. I keep my craft supplies in one, and the cat tree sits kitty corner to it. I opened it slightly to fix a bag that I noticed sticking out a bit under the door, and was crouched down on the floor to do so. I guess Tybalt had climbed on top of the closet doors from the cat tree, because I closed the door and next thing I knew, I had 10 lbs of freaked out cat landing on my head, LOL! He was fine, but freaked out, and I couldn't stop laughing, it was too funny. I'd LIKE to think that this will make him think twice about climbing on top of closet doors, but I'm not holding my breathe, lol.
