I "adopted" Marley on my dog Bella's birthday in 2007 - little did I know that she would end up with a million issues...perfect example of someone who shouldn't be breeding animals. Anyways, she is a Fawn colored Doberman and super sweet. She didn't bond with one single human until she was 9 months old...wanted nothing to do with them. She did, however, love other dogs. Marley is the reason I've started two other groups on the forums...

I'm sorry to hear that Marley is suffering with those problems. )=

But I'm glad she found a new, loving home with you. (=

Anyways, I'm new to this group.

I do not own a Doberman, but I plan to in the near future.

Specifically a chocolate and tan female.

I am patiently awaiting the day when I can finally bring her home!

You will love owning a Doberman. They are awesome dogs! We had ours for 11 years. We just lost her on March 19 so we are not ready for another one yet. We are still grieving. But we want another Doberman or two for sure. Just know they require alot of exercise and want to go with you every where. They don't like to be alone. They slow down about 3-4 years old. i think that is typical of most dogs though. Most breeders recommend a fenced in yard. I can't say enough about the love and loyaly that you get in return. Please post with pics when you get yours Ok? I would love to see her/him. I will post a pic of Penny on mine soon.
