Wolves make a lot of people stand back in awe, so much that wolf dogs are very popular. The higher content the higher the prey drive, and this can cause issues. I personally have no problem or difficulty maintaining dominance in very big and small dogs so that wouldn't be an issue. But I will admit it's so much easier to live with a dog than a wolf. I recently learned about the "Alaskan Noble Companion Dog" which is a new and upcoming breed that reportedly has very little wolf in their mix, but has a ton of the look due to breeding for wolf like physical traits. Anyone with personal experience with this new breed being established?

I think an Alaskan Noble Dog would be a great alternative to someone wanting the look of a wolf without the wild intangibles that come with a wolfdog. If I recall correctly I do not think Ann used any wolf but rather a mix of domestic breeds such as GSD, husky, and malamute to derive at its look. I know a few people with NCD animals and they are great animals from what I see and am told.
