I have a Rottweiler mix, who's a year old, named Gonzo. He's a sweet dog, lovable; he's just extremely stubborn.

I have trained dogs before, but he just seems to not want to listen. I have been trying to train him like I did my other dogs, but he is not food motivated. How would I get him to listen, but enjoy training sessions without getting distracted?

I really want to Clicker Train him, but I read it involved food at first in a way, and he just takes the food than spits it out. I really need advice on how to bond with my dog, grow him into a model example, whilst keeping my patience with his headstrong attitude.

    Please help!

I have trouble training my Chowchow (9 months old) too. He doesn't seem to like treats, as in he prefers playing than eating. So it's really hard for me to award him when training.
Any suggestions on what to do about that?
