For the last two days my ten month old dog keeps drinking water until he makes himself sick and pukes it up. He has never had this problem until yesterday. I figured yesterday it was because we went to the park and it was a little hot so I thought he may have just been really thirsty and didn't stop himself. However, today they haven't done much of anything but sit around in the air conditioned house and he just did it again. He seems totally healthy otherwise. I just don't get this. Other then the obvious answer of limiting and watching his water intake has anyone run across this or have idea what might be going on?
Last month my 4 year old dog started drinking water constantly. He was also peeing a lot, He's been diagnosed with diabetes. If your dog keeps drinking all the time, please have him checked out, because we are still trying to stabilize Bailey.
Thanks. I will watch him. Now he is starting having really really bad diarrhea so maybe it's a symptom of being sick. His diet is the same except for the fact that I gave him some dried chicken jerky stuff and it's from China. I was reading a thread that that can be really bad. My other puppy had some and she seems to be constipated, could it be food poisoning?
