    Photo Viewing Trouble

Maybe I'm just a computer/tech moron (well, no maybe about that, actually) but can someone explain to me why I can sometimes see posted photos and other times, can't? Sometimes, there's a little box with an x through it and other times, there's simply nothing where a photo would be.

Is it a problem with my computer settings or a problem with my brain? Personally, I suspect the latter ...

At any rate, any suggestions, hints or help would be much appreciated.

If you don't see a photo that someone else has tried to post, there's a very good chance that the poster did not actually post a photo. It's not hard, but the format must be exactly right.

That makes sense. There are however, times when I can't view a photo and yet I read comments from others who obviously can, saying things like "What a beautiful dog," etc. What's up with that?

As for me, as much as I might want to, I don't think I would have the wherewithal to try to post a photo. Too daunting of a task for my technically challenged self.

Then it may be the security settings on your computer, check those it they're too high they may not allow photos from certain third party hosts (which is the only way you can post photos here) due to scripting.

Thank you; I think you may be right. I'll see about getting it looked into.
