    Down in motion

    Anyone have an idea of how to teach this?, I found an article on it, but it sounds a little harsh, I'd like to try some more "mellow" way first.

    Will the dog comply at your request from a distance? If not, I would start there first.

    Just out of curiousity, what did the article suggest?

    EDIT:
    Actually, I'm wondering if I have the wrong idea about what a down in motion is....
    Can you describe what you mean by this?

    Ok, I did some searching and I'm guessing it was the leerburg article on training down in motion?

    I then found this article with an alternative method:

    yeah...that was the article I found actually (the leerburg one) The one you suggested sounds pretty good actually, I'm going to try it, thanks a lot!!.
