Thread: How Do You Tell if Your Parakeet is a Boy Or A Girl?

I have 3 Parakeets and they just made an egg. I know I have 1 girl but I have to figure out which one so I could take care of her. How can I tell which is the girl?

You look at the flesh souronding the nares (nostrils). When they are older, It will either be brown, or blue, vilote, or another bold color. Brown means a girl, blue etc.. means boy.
