costumes?
Anyone working on any good costumes for halloween?
I am not going to have time to make new ones for the dogs, so if they go out they will have to make do with their gypsy and pirate gear from last year.
My daughter wanted me to make her a "darkside tinkerbell" which has turned out really fun. My oldest son wanted me to make him corvo atano from the videogame dishonored, which is proving to be a challenge. My youngest boy wants me to make him a lime green ninja which I haven't started yet. I have the fabric but ive been sick and have gotten behind. I am trying to push through this mystery illness and get these done as the cub scout halloween party is Tuesday!

We are not going to be nothing special, just paint are faces and go walk around.
We are still looking for costumes for the dogs, Buddy we find so much, but Lady I can't find none! We are going to have to go store to store this weekend to find something for lady.
We are going to go get there pictures done when we find there costumes, but we are still decideing if we should be in the pictures or just them....
I would love to see the costumes when you are done making them.

Re: costumes?
I really wish I was good at the sewing thing. I can think of a ton of Bella costumes. Like a Bellarina tutu, or BellaBatDog.
We should have a doggie costume contest here in the Pictures Forum!

Re: costumes?
No costume plans for me this year, not yet anyway. As usual, all my costume making energy goes into making Kuma's costume, lol, but hey, the dog costume contests offer the best prizes!
Just started Kuma's costume last night, which may be a record for me, I usually wait until the last possible moment, lol.

Re: costumes?
Now that I have a naked pup, I spend too much time looking at clothes. Best dog costume I've seen this season was a lorax. She made multiples, but someone posted a pic after they won a contest.. Both the owners were trees from the lorax with huge wigs. Was pretty awesome.

Re: costumes?
SO won't let me dress up the girls
I think the girls would make awesome dinosaurs. We also have no place to take them anyways and no one with kids to tag along with on trick-or-treating. Sigh... Maybe next year.

Re: costumes?
We still have zero ideas for ourselves and Halloween is around the corner. I've retired Gaga, and my boyfriend and I failed at couple ideas. I'm trying to convince him to do inappropriate Twilight costumes.
I've never dressed the dogs up, but my work has a Halloween party/adoption event, so we're going to dress up Jack McCoy.. as Jack McCoy. I've ordered him his District Attorney suit and his tag already says "District Attorney Jack McCoy. I'm lost, contact my secretary." My boyfriend is going to dress as a detective (probably just a cop uniform to make it more obvious) and I'm going to dress as a criminal and cuff his leash to me. Pretty lame and cutesy, but it will be fun.

Re: costumes?
My dogs are going costume-less this year. Couldn't get Recon's dino costume ordered/made in time, and Frag will be playing agility at the only dog event we're going to, so he can't have anything restricting on. BF can't control my pit and border at said event, so he's just bringing the pup, or I'd put Frag's shark costume on the pit.
Sir and Frag are both going to be wearing Marine cammies (BF was a Marine) for trick-or-treating though, and Frag's going to be holding the basket of candy for the kids.

Re: costumes?
My daughter got the idea for the dogs to be little red riding hood and the big bad wolf. The costumes were free for me, as I had the material in my "stash" and took just a little while to make, not hard at all. Came out pretty cute. I posted the pic in the DF facebook page.
I really want to see TWAB's Jack McCoy picture.

Re: costumes?
I loved this pic so much, I decided to change Zoey and Ziva's costume pic to my avatar
My daughter says Ziva looks like a muffin, but she is not a muffin! lol she is the Big Bad Wolf and she has eaten Grandmother and put her nightgown and granny cap on! Obviously!
