Our local Dogtopia carries these for sale in store! Nowhere else around here does since she is UK-based.

I picked up the "Spinny" for Brady :)

I had never heard of these puzzle games, but they're great!

I have the wooden version of that one...I like the plastic idea better! I also have her Doggy Pyramid, Kong has one too now. Bayley took about 10 minutes to figure it out, so now it's easy peasy for her. She keeps losing her pyramid under things..!! What I like though, and it's alot cheaper is 101 Things to Do with a box!! Brady would probably like box games. Good way to start teaching him to put his toys away! Still working on that one with Bayley...it's harder around here..kitten seems to enjoy playing box games too! So for a few minutes, I have to keep removing kitten from the box till she gives up!

I have a couple of the wooden ones too and I think they are more difficult of a puzzle. It takes some effort to get the few pieces of kibble you can fit in each section. Carsten likes it but he opens the areas and Oliver quick gobbles up the loot.

What would be a good starter?
I think the tornado is super easy. Might be sort of boring for a doxie

The spinny might give a doxie a little more to do with his/her feet (since they like to dig :))

I've purchased both plastic and wood. I like the plastic much better - just toss in the dishwasher to clean.

I'm going to be debbie downer but i think they are crazy expensive for what they are.

We have 4 that were given to us as gifts and the dogs figured them out so quickly they became boring for them.

Wow! You have some good friends!!

they are crazy expensive for what they are.
Well, I can't argue that point. See below for an economical alternative

Or broadcast your dogs' kibble so they have to look for it (watch out for ants)

Or freeze stuff

I agree too expensive for what it is. A few weeks ago I bought him one of the treat toys I saw in another thread, a soft plactic disc that attaches to a plastic drink bottle and you put food/treats on the bottle. The idea is great and it was only $7 but Jubel quickly realized it was much easier to yank the bottle out of the disc than get the kibble into the disc then out the hole in the disc. He liked it but his solution is to take it apart and once he figured it out that was the first thing he did when I put it back together. Less than 5 minutes after I first gave it to him. I'd hate to spend a lot on a toy he'll solve and lose interest in likely very quickly.
