    LOL he says Pit Bool.

I greatly dislike the whole show.

I think a lot of it is now staged. Would a film crew really film someone committing a crime and not do anything about it? The drama I think is also staged.

BTW, does anyone think that the women and daughter that complained about there not being enough little people at the party was real? If so then what a couple of brats!

    Re: Pit Boss, anyone?

I like the show sometimes but I choose to tune in & out depending on what is going on (like when he broke into the house). But like all reality shows it is pretty addicting in its own way... like PB&P.

Also, asside from being pretty cute, Shorty (forgive me for saying) almost has like a Fonz-like personality about him. Its not really his looks but his personality that make him cute IMHO.

But I have to admit that he's out to make a buck more then he is about his employees naking it. He did kinda piss me off when he convenced ashley not to take that comedy job because she said that it feels right in her gut, but he talked her out of it saying the guy was a shark & was 'typical hollywood'. I was like.. 'isnt that what shorty is too???' Oh we'll lol.

I don't get the show here, but do his employees really have to do the job naked? :P Now I'd pay to see naked little people tackling pit bulls and breaking and entering. THAT is reality tv!

Hahaha mesh, sorry about that typo, I meant to say MAKING it but I'm mostly mobile & my phone has this tiny keyboard that sometimes doesn't get along w/fat thumbs lmbo. So ant typos that insue are because of that reason.

Did anyone see the previews for next weeks ep? About how he wants to hire a new booking agent or something like that & all he looks at is tall girls, then gives her a new office so she can 'consentrate on making is more money?' Lol

This is a pattern all these reality shows follow. First , it is somewhat interesting..but only if you are directly interested in the topic at hand. Then they try and up viewership with shock value.

Like Bear Gryllis ( sp?) first , he had some good lessons to teach..next season he is doing seriously risky stuff to get to a rescue point ( something a person lost should never do..i.e put themselves in more peril) ....then , next thing you know he is drinking urine ( YOUR-INE) and eating raw sheep eyes from a dead animal he found.

I saw that episode ..it was dumb and staged. There was a camera crew . It is not real. It is stupid to go into a person's home and rescue their dogs. They just might bite. Animal control would not have just iced somebody's pets ..they would have tried to resolve the issue. maybe seriously fine the owner and charge restitution to get her dogs back , yes. But they would not rescue animals from a home and then just put them to sleep.

Shorty is nasty. It is for the purpose of shock value. The Roloffs were too benign , so they needed an angry violent controversial dwarf to snatch up that audience again. Hey , why not combine it with the other latest topic? Rescuing PBs?? Poof! Another dumb reality show is born.

I like Pit Bulls and Parolees. She seems true to the cause. I also liked Dogtown. But now those shows will seem "boring" so I would not be surprised to see them either go sensationalized as well , or get canceled.

Kind of like what Bear Gryllis did to Les Straud of Survivor Man.

Yeah I liked dogtown too, it was kind of like animal planet heros (insert city here) which I haven't seen any new eps of either.

I think this show is so fake. Perhaps in the beginning, it was a legitimate story, but now they must be trying so hard to come up with new plotlines. The episode that really made me realize how staged it was was the one with the woman who randomly called and reported that a man stole her pitbull from an industrial area, and Shorty and his guys did a "stake out." They eventually spotted the guy walking with the pitbull who called it by a boy's name even though it was a girl, and then put up a weak fight for the dog before dropping the leash and running away. It was so painfully staged.

Bear Gryllis will never be Les Straud. Survivor Man >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Man vs. Wild

God, I LOVED Survivor Man because it was real and he had to carry around all his camera equipment and set up his own shots and make sure everything looked good while trying to survive. I miss Survivor Man. :-(

Its terrible. It only exists because of the participants stature and I guess some people are intrigued by that. they should drop this and the parolee thing and pick up dogtown

Yeah, I agree. We used to watch Operation Repo for a while, and I think the same thing is true for that show. 'Reality TV' has really blurred the line between 'candid' and 'scripted', imo. Most Reality shows aren't actually all that real. They're more like different flavored clones of Jerry Springer.

I have also noticed that I have seen no new eps of animal cops either, perhaps AP dropped them for the same reason as dogtown, & the 'dog championships' (the dog show & the agility/dog sports things)? By the way can anyone remember what station did dogtown orginally air on?

I remember when AP used to be a animal lovers channel, but I guess we aren't numerous enough to make a difference

I admit to watching every episode. Like "Pitbulls & Parolees", I record both shows & fast forward thru most of the drama. I'm sure all of that is real, but highly embellished. When the dogs were humping Shorty, the girl said he was being attacked. Ronald is the one who got fired or quit, I can't remember. Sebastian is the mostly bald guy, I think he's pretty cute LOL, even tho I'm probably old enough to be his mother LOL.

Operation Repo is fake. Well, they say the stories are real but the ones we see are all reinactments. It was like someone telling a kid santa wasn't real when I found that out.

Thing is, I think the earliest episodes were not so over the top. But now they're just so ridiculous...

Definitely why I thought it was real. Now they're obviously not because they're so insane. I don't get the point. Parking Wars is real action and it's just as entertaining. You don't even have to look that hard for crazy people.
