What noises does your dog make?

I am curious about what noises other's dogs make. Does anyone's dog whine or squeak when they yawn? My pit bull does this all the time. She will sneeze when excited, sigh before going to sleep, silently fart, and make snorts and grumbles when it's feeding time. What noises does your dog(s) make?

Both of mine sometimes make noises when they yawn. Eddie also grumbles a lot. He's very vocal. lol

I have three German Shepherds and a Boxer mix. My dogs whine and cry all of the time. Yes, they do whine when they yawn too. If they're roughhousing or I am touching their mouths or noses they sneeze. Brody, my boxer mix does not fart silently. He rips them and then looks at the closest person like Hey.... Why did you make that noise? Brody also tends to growl and attack his tail when it wags and his back feet if he's laying curled up.

All of my dogs grunt and sigh when being massaged, especially their ears. They are a special group.

Does anyone remember Spunky, the dog on the cartoon Rocko's Modern Life? Spunky always makes these little grumbling noises. My dog sounds EXACTLY like Spunky whenever you move her, like if she's on the couch and you slide her over so you can sit.

My dog is very very quiet aside from occasional sighs (usually accompanied by a glare and turn-around when I deny him whatever food I am eating). But when he really needs to go outside, he will bow and say "Ooouuuuut" Seriously, it really sounds like the full word "out."

I met a collie puppy last night who made squeaking sounds when she was happy. She was squeaking while chewing on a bone and while playing tug. Strange!

Pepper makes what I call his "concerned" noise when he hears something that disturbs him. Its not a bark - more of a whine, but it sounds like he's saying "What?"

He will snort when I'm not doing what he wants me to do.

And he'll bark when the doorbell rings. That's about it.

Funny... my pittie does everything you mentioned - especially the sighing before she goes to sleep. Hilarious!

Also Bouncer, my other pit mix, makes a high-pitched "sing" every single time he yawns. We crack up every time.

Sydney is a major grumbler. If she hears people outside she makes lots of funny quiet sounds because she knows she'll get in trouble for barking. She also squeaks very loudly when she yawns. Oh and she sighs a lot. If it's a boring day and I'm working from home or something she will just look at me every so often and sigh as if to say "you're so boooooring mom."

My Boston snorts, snores, grunts in her sleep...and there is this sound that comes from her rear end, but I won't go into that here.

Kit will "yip" in her sleep if she's dreaming. She also has this adorable habit of "talking back" (grumbling) when asked to do something that she'd really rather not do. Like I'm eating dinner and she's bugging me, so I send her to her crate. The whole way there she grumbles like she's telling me off.

Buffy is such a whiner. It doesn't bother me too much when we're alone, because I mostly ignore it, but I do worry about her annoying other people when she does it in public. Some people find it cute in certain situations, like when we're waiting in line at a store. I was warned by her foster when I picked her out that she was a whiner, so she's been like that since at least 8 weeks old.

She also sighs a lot and snores sometimes. She also snorts when she's playing. I do hear her fart now and then too, not too often, and every time I've seen/heard her do it, she turns around and looks at her butt in shock for a few seconds like "what was that?"

She also has pretty strange barks. Her warning bark (I think) is a low one that almost sounds like a hoarse cough. Her excited bark is really high pitched and annoying. My parents' dog is smaller than Buffy and her bark isn't even as high pitched as Buffy's.

Izze makes these moaning sounds when she lies down, when she shifts positions etc, she also makes the same sound when she is scratching her back in the grass or scratching her ears lol. When she hears somthing outside at night (dogs come in at nite, stay out during the day) sometimes she does this weird sneezing sound that she does before she barks, when she does that I tell her to shut up (literally lol) & she does because she knows that she will get a body block & a star down if she doesnt lol.

i have a pug so snoring and grunting sounds r the norm. he also makes a squeaky sound when he yawns and yes he has some silent but deadly noises coming from his behind

Roxie is quite as a mouse dosn't talk or grumble about anything, Wally talks straight up will hold conversations with me. Ianto just talks to make noises I think he likes to hear himself squeek LMAO!
