Today I decided that Nash man is no longer going to be out at work (dog daycare). He is either a big jerk or has to strong of a herding instinct, not sure which, or maybe a combo of both. Either way, he runs circles around the other dogs all day, cuts them off if they start running around and over all just annoys all the dogs.
Certain dogs seem to set him off more . . . the more hectic dogs and he really tries to control them. It used to be that he would only do this some of the time and would actually play a decent amount of the time he was there. Not the playing is a very small amount of time and he spends most of the time running circles and cutting off other dogs. If he didn't hold a kong in his mouth I'm sure he would be pecking them too.
Understandably this annoys the dogs he does it to so before he starts a fight I am kicking him out. He has gotten into some very minor arguments with other dogs, but not a full out fight (at work, he and Lloyd have gotten in a couple when we first got Nash). I want to be proactive and take him out before a fight happens and I feel with this behavior a fight is inevitable. I can always call him away from this, but as soon as I let him go back he starts up again. He doesn't do this if he is with only one or two other dogs, then he usually wants to play (he loves to play).
I'm kinda sad because for one its nice to have him out at work with me and to get to spend the day with him, and two after going to daycare and running around for 8 hours is about the only time he was ever kinda tired.
