    can puppies have multiple dads?

in my thread about how big my dog will get, someone made the comment about that females can get pregnant by multiple dads, basicly saying some puppies could be from one donor, and some puppies from another, during the same birth cycle .... I was curious because of the unique rottwieler coloring she has.

Yes, it is possible for a female to mate and conceive with multiple males. I saw the picture of your pup, and to be honest I didn't see any Husky at all.

A litter of puppies can have multiple sires, but each individual pup only has one dad.

Yes they can have multiple fathers in a litter, same with any animal animal that has multiple offspring. It can even happen with humans with fraternal twins.

Wouldn't they be half brothers then?

I've never heard of that happening with people, wow.

Like someone already mentioned, it is possible to have different dads in the same litter, but each pup would only have one dad. I know someone that wanted to breed her bitch one more time and couldn't decide between two stud dogs, so they bred her to both and DNA tested the litter for registration purposes. Pricey, but worked for them!
