Once, and only because I leave for work before the crack of dawn and they're never hungry that early in the morning.
I feed Lily twice a day. Between 7-12 am and between 7-12 pm, just depends on what I am doing that day.
Lily- 6 1/2 year old Siamese cat
Luna- 3 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix
Kuma gets fed twice a day, morning and evening
Mine get fed 2x's a day.

Sometimes once a day, sometimes twice day, sometimes more, some days none (the day after they eat raw they don't eat).

Three times a day. 7 AM, noonish, and 7 pm.
Once a day. She eats a few bites of it throughout the day until it's empty.

Twice a day and a snack before bedtime. This way they don't have "empty tummy syndrome" in the morning.

I feed my dogs twice a day....large dogs should be fed twice a day because eating too much at once can give them bloat, and small dogs should be fed twice a day because they can get low blood sugar if they don't eat often enough.

Good question & interesting reading the answers, as I've wondered how often I should feed my 13 week old Boston terrier/Min Pin mix.
I'm now feeding him 3x a day. I hope that's what's best for him. I've just recently started that & he's not quite used to the "schedule" yet, previously I was just feeding him several times a day.
Is it true that smaller dogs need to be fed more than just twice a day becuz of their smaller systems, or am I wrong about that?
My older dog has always had food available. I now realize that was NOT the best thing to do for him. He's pushing 14, so I wont be changing his schedule at this point.

Twice a day but she doesn't always eat first thing, so sometimes the second meal is quite late. Dunno if that's bad or not - anyone know?
