How many hours?
How many hours?
Do you mean how many hours am I at home with the dog or how many hours am I purposefully interacting with the dog?
RIP Clifford, who never met a stranger
In that case, I am home with the dog for about 8 waking hours a day. I live with two other people, though, so one of us is home with the dog pretty much 24/7. The possible exception being when we all go to church on Sunday or out to eat during the week.

Pretty much 24 hrs/day. I'm a stay at home mom, and even if I'm going somewhere, I'll take him with me on all but the hottest days.
I plan to go back to school/work when my youngest is in school full time, and I sometimes worry about how he'll handle it, now that he's used to me being home all the time.
I am home all day until about 3pm then I leave for work . The clinic opens at 5pm and I get home usually around 1am. My husband gets home around 5pm and he is just about going to bed when I get home.
So the dogs are only alone 2 hours a day.! They have it pretty good. Plus I play and train with them about 3 hours a day total, everyday!
My dog is able to go with me to work currently, so pretty much is 'with' me all day, everyday, although when hubby and I go 'out' on dates we do leave the pooches home often times... In the fall, I may not be able to take my girls to work with me anymore, as I 'may' be changing jobs, but I am not fully sure on that...if that's the case, it will be a big change for us...I may bring them to doggie daycare still, though.
About 7 or 8 waking hours. Uallis is with me nearly ALL that time as he thinks he's attached to my hip...If he were allowed upstairs, I think that he'd even follow me to the bathroom. Now that its summer, I only work 3 days a week (YAY!! ) so I have a lot more time with them. When I'm home, they are with me the entire time I am awake.

Summer is here and DH and myself are off from work. Also our daughter is home since school is out and she is not taking extra classes over the summer this year. So right now they have us 24/7 for the next 10 weeks.
When school is in session, DH (cat man) is gone 6AM - 4/5PM, I work from 10AM -
1PM, and DD has classes 2 days per week...gone 8AM - 4PM (since she will be carpooling this year). So the animals are really only alone for the 3 hours plus short commute time that I am gone. And we are home almost every evening and weekend.
We have a large property and there is always something to do around here andthey are outside with us. But we also have beautiful places to hike and hang out very close to home. So those little dogs get a real work out most days. As long as it's not too hot or too cold I do at least one 3-mile hike into the nearby foothills every morning or afternoon. And some days DD takes them again just before dinner. A tired dog is a good dog!!!

All day, every day. The odd time I can't take her with me - grocery shopping, etc.
Tuesday through friday I am with Snoopy about 9 hours because I work from 11am to 3pm. On saturday I work from 12pm to 5pm so I am with him for about 8 hours. On sunday and monday I am with him all day. It just depends on when I wake up and go to bed.
Hmmm....well, I work three days a week, anywhere from 6-8 hours, and the other four days I'm home except for running errands. We'll say for the sake of this thread that I leave the house for two hours every day that I don't work, so, averaged out, that's 19.71 hours a day that I'm home with my dogs, or 11.71 waking hours....

A day? About 10 hours I'd say. On weekends it's even more.
Since he's allowed to roam the entire house now, that number will shoot up. He sleeps in my room now too.

I guess 24hrs. There are exceptions for when I have to go shopping or something like that. Otherwise its 24/7. Sometimes if I leave to shop or pick something up DH will stay home, or if he has to run to town for something then I will. So both of us are usually here but if not then 1 of us is most of the time.
I take Maddy or Beau to work with me, alternating days, so one is always with me. Otherwise, a good 15 hrs. a day during the work week, and 24/7 on the weekends.
Well, I work 8 hours a day, 4-5 days a week, I am home with them the rest of the time for the most part, unless out grocery shopping or visiting my family. I usually spend the night up with them, as I don't sleep so well. We go for a 4 mile walk around midnight, and then go for a run around 4 am, then we all go to sleep (or try to). Then we get up at some point and go for a short walk before I go into work. When I get home from work we play fetch in the parking area (its fenced in on 3 sides, live in an aparment) or I just let them chase each out around, for about 15-20 minutes.
About 10 hours a day with 2 hours interacting with the dogs.
For me it really depends on the day. Usually we spend all day wednesday together. Monday I work, so we will spend untill about 4:00 in the afternoon together and then after work. Tuesdays I have school so besides about 7 hours we spend all day together. Thursdays I work and have school so its morning and nights together. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays I work so We spend untill late afternoons and LATE evenings together. Usually when Im not home though, he will be at my moms, or one of my two roomates will be home throughout the day. So he always gets alot of attention.
24/7! He comes to work with me so I really never have to leave Cody alone. The one exception is going to the grocery store/out to eat.
He is nice and small so he gets to travel and come on trips with my bf and I. Lucky for him, because he HATES being left alone! He's just a love bug.
