Crate mat dog can't chew

Does anyone know of a mat for in the crate that the dog can't chew apart?

I would say just give the dog a bare crate. Snoopy only has a towel in his crate but I don't use it anyway. When I did use it he would push the towel all up at one end and prefered the bare crate.

Buck has had his for almost 2 years. they're fantastic. Can't be chewed or destroyed. You can create your own. They are so easy to clean, just wipe them down.

Someone posted a link to primopads.com a few months ago. I haven't purchased one yet, but I'm going to. All of the reviews I've found are very positive. They are affordable (especially when you've been through several beds/blankets). I like the colors and the pads are guaranteed. If your dog chews/destroys the bed, you get a replacement. Hopefully someone else who has purchased one will respond, but if not, at least you've got an option. My dogs HATE a bare crate. I think they should stop chewing the stuff I put in there if they don't like it bare!

Thank you both! CushionGuy is the one I knew I had seen but couldn't find again. And the Primo Pads look great also! I love these boards! I would feel bad putting her in a bare crate but she chews any bed I've had so far. One of these pads will be perfect.

Don't know about the others, but I can vouch for the Dura-beds. They fit snuggly in the crate and they are made of durable vinyl. Buck has never even tried to chew this mat.

These are now on my list of 'must haves'.

I've emailed and called Dura Beds to ask for an odd size quote and haven't gotten a response in 2 days. Has anyone had trouble with their customer service?

I'm going to try this for Shiner's crate, he has a particular thing for chewing blankets and bedding. He's been bedless because I was afraid he'd give himself a blockage. I had no idea there were beds that couldn't be chewed.

I had no trouble with their customer service, but then I just ordered a standard crate size.

I hope you won't get frustrated and give up. They are truly worth every penny.
