Noises your dogs makes in his/her sleep

My pup is a talker. He is when he's a wake and he really is when he sleeps. Sometimes (like now) it sounds like he's purring. It's this wonderful rumbly snore sound. He also whimpers, grunts, chuffs and quietly barks. The thing that truly amazed me was 3 nights ago when he howled. Yep, he howled in his sleep

So, what sounds does your dog make while sleeping?

Ironically, my girl is sleeping with her head in my lap as I type (sitting on floor -- laptop), as of 10 seconds ago she was growling and softly "wooOOF"ing in her sleep, lol.

She does that little "run on her side" thing too, where her legs pinwheel a bit and she gets all tense, then starts growling, whining, barking, etc...but her sleep sounds aren't the same as her awake sounds. She also has been known to snort, sneeze, grunt, and "umph" in her sleep. Whatever the sound, it's always really funny.

Zoe crys and wimpers in her sleep sometimes, we think she is making nightmares or something. Then when you wake her up, she smiles like she is embarrassed. She also eats in her sleep, lays on her back and kicks her legs up like she is exercising. It funny

Max is usually a pretty quite sleeper, but a few times he has barked in his sleep. It's actually a high pitched, kind of soft bark and he looks all tense. It sounds like someone is hurting him and it always surprises me when I hear it and I wonder what he's dreaming of and hope it's not something bad.

Honey is a very quiet sleeper. At the most, just a few barely audible grunts. Spunky, on the other hand...the snoring is just the least of it! Her snoring isn't that loud, but occasionally she snorts, or even bays. It's funny because the times when she does these are usually on days when we've been for extra-long walks.

Lucy will chuff and woof softly. Holly, the baby, makes funny noises ll the time. She mostly whines in her sleep, as she's rolling over. When she wakes, and yawns, ohmygawd! She's so LOUD, for one, and it's this weird, alien sound--like a chortling speech. We all just die when she does it.

well at least schmoo isn't the only noisy sleeper

Schmoo has just started making the most crazy noise when he yawns. I can't even describe it, but the first time he did it I was looking around to see where the noise came from

Jak occasionally makes a high pitched "woooo". I don't know what he dreams about, but he burns a lot of calories when hes sleeping; all the legs are moving and everything.
