Question Dog Breaks out of Kennel HELP

I have a 3 yr old Labradoodle, who was kenneled most of his life, but I think he has a separation anxiety disorder...everytime I leave and put him in the kennel he breaks out after about 2 to 5 minutes. He doesnt try to break out when I am home just as soon as he knows I leave the house. I have tried music, tv, and nothing seems to help stop him from breaking out. This wouldnt be a problem except I work 8 hours a day about 5 times a week and he needs to be in a kennel so he doesnt mark or destroy anything. Any suggestions on how to get him to stay in the kennel

Honestly I would see if you can confine him to a small room. Being in a kennel 8 hours a day is a very long time. How much exercise does he get a day?

I'm sure there are many rural areas that just do not have a dog day care ctr.

OP if it's a crate the dog is breaking out of try the crate below.

Doggie daycare gets expensive, not every dog is suited for doggie daycare, and not everyplace has one convenient

OP- if its a wire crate, you can use the plastic zipties to connect all the portions that would normally disconnect to fold down and then use a carabiner or clip on the latch so he can't lift the latch and slide it.

Keep us informed, usually once they start breaking out it's tough to handle. The mind set of a Houdini dog can be a tough nut to crack.
