Puppy peeing while meeting new people

Benji isnt shy at all, very brave pup actually.
However the past week whenever he meets someone new he pees!
Will this stop when he can control his bladder better or is it something i have to train him not to do?

How old is Benji? He could be an excited pee-er. My mom's cockapoo is exactly like this, she gets so excited that she whizzes everywhere, lol. He might out grow it, or he might never. When does he exactly pee? When he sees the person, when they say something, when they touch him? What will help if you get him to calm down first before allowing any interaction. No touch, no talk, no eye contact really helps, and when he is calm he will be less likely to pee. My mom's cockapoo is fine after 10 min of being ignored and won't excite pee when interacted with.

I agree. It sounds like excited peeing where she is so hyped up she loses control. Before she gets to that hyper excited stage take her on one side and calm her down. Long strokes down the full length of the body, rub the ears gently. Rub the chest and under the neck - all gently while talking quietly.

When she is calm, try introductions again and if she gets hyper - back top calming her.

You will need to do this consistently until she can remain calm and not pee around new people.

    Interesting,,,
but I'm sure that they are born on their own nature. As well as these perspectives of their lives are concerned,
you have no need to worry. They behave according to nature. Just keep them away from Wandering around dogs.

It is called submission wetting. Some puppies will grow out of it -some won't. It is not a housebreaking issue. Dont punish the dog or it will make it worse. Your dog is basically saying to the person he is meeting "I recgonize you as superior to me." Any quests should be instructed to not acknowledge the dog until he has calmed down. Usually about 5 to 10 minutes. When they pet him it should be a scratch on the chest- not a pet on the head. Leaning over him and petting him on the head will most likey trigger the wetting always as it is a dominent gesture. Our last dog was a submission wetter. She was also one of the smartest dogs I have ever known. Just learn his "triggers" and you and he will be fine. Good Luck!
