I'm starting to take Belle for long early-morning walks.
If she walks on an empty stomach - or if she just misses breakfast - she vomits up this yellow bile. This NEVER happens if I give her breakfast and skip the walk.
But I don't want to risk bloat by walking her on a full stomach. I tried giving her just a little food, but she still spat up the bile. I probably didn't give her nearly enough, but I just don't want to overfeed her and risk bloat.
Is there anything you guys know of that settles a dog's stomach just enough to prevent the irritation caused by it being empty, but you don't need to give large quantities of it? I know I could experiment, but just thought I'd ask the forum first.
